Shipping Integrations

Overview

Shipping Integrations give brands and 3PLs the freedom to connect their own carrier accounts directly into the WMS. While Logentic provides default integrations for all supported carriers, you can supplement these with third-party connections like ShipStation, Parcelz, 2Ship, or Obibox. This flexibility lets you decide how labels are generated, which accounts are used for fulfillment or returns, and ensures every shipment runs through the setup that best fits your business.

How It Works

Shipping Integrations are managed from the same menu as Carrier Services. Managers simply select an available integration and input the account credentials (e.g., API keys). Once saved, these accounts can be designated as the main integration for fulfillment and/or return label generation.

If an integration isn’t set as default, it can still be leveraged through Order Automations, which apply specific integrations on a per-order or conditional basis (e.g., routing international orders to ShipStation while using Logentic defaults for domestic). This ensures flexibility without adding complexity to operator workflows.

Why It Matters

  • Gain flexibility by supplementing Logentic’s default integrations with your own accounts.

  • Use your own negotiated carrier rates to protect margins and reduce shipping costs.

  • Control how labels are generated by choosing which integration applies to fulfillment and which to returns.

  • Keep operations seamless by pairing integrations with order automations that apply the right account for the right order.

  • Empower 3PL merchants to connect their own accounts, giving them transparency and control while you maintain operational efficiency.

Best Practice

Use integrations strategically: set your own accounts as defaults to capture negotiated savings, or give merchants the option to bring theirs for added transparency. Combine integrations with order automations to route specific order types — such as international shipments or oversized items — to the most cost-effective carrier without adding manual work.
